Adsense is Google's syndicate network program for Adwords.
- Adwords
Adwords is a PPC service provided by Google.
- Algorithmic Search Engine
An algorithmic search engine spiders a website and displays relevant listings based on search criteria.
- Alt Attribute
The alt attribute is used to provide a short text description of an image.
- Alt Tag
A mis-representation of the term Alt alttribute.
- Analytical Software
Analytical software is any software that allows one to analyse and report on something.
- Anchor Text
Anchor text is the actual display text of a link.
- Apache
Apache is a free, usually Linux-based web server application.
- API
An API is an application programming interface.
- ASP
ASP is a coding language that allows code to run at the server before a web page is sent to a browser.
- ASP
An ASP is the service providing company for an application, such as Microsoft Exchange.
- Auto Bid
Autobid is a feature of some PPC engines where you only pay the minimum necessary to outbid your competitors within your budget.
- Automated Submission
Automated submission is carried out by software, which submits your website to a number of add-url services.
