Maia is our proprietary content management and ecommerce system. It is designed to be the most search-engine-friendly content management system available, not only producing w3c compliant HTML, but also gently nudging you towards best practice in how you use, and write for, your website.

It is flexible enough to allow you to create templates in any number of types of layout, any look , and any feel.  This website, for example, uses our Maia system.

Maia currently comes in two flavours – Standard CMS, and Ecommerce.  A third version is in the pipeline that allows management of multiple websites from one central log-in.

A well organised and straightforward administration section enables users of all levels of ability to be able to create and edit content, or manage an online shop.

The code generated is search-engine-friendly, properly formatted HTML.  The admin system encourages correct use of headings, alt attributes, title attributes, anchor text and so on.

Full Design Process

Templates can be created by your graphic designer, or by use, and imported into your website simply.  Any number of templates can be used.

Upgrades are undertaken regularly, and bugs, when they happen, are repaired quickly.  Our strict quality control system help prevent bugs being released into live websites.

Training

Any Maia-based project includes on-site training, both in how to use the content management system, and in best practice content writing.

Hosting

While Maia can be hosted on many third-party servers, if preferred, managed hosting can be provided as part of the overall service, using servers chosen specifically with Maia in mind.

Content Import

If you have an existing website from which you would like to import the current content, this may be possible, depending on the circumstances.
